Plastic seals for energy meters CONNECTION LOCK RFID, are seals specifically designed for energy meters that combine mechanical safety with the electronic one offered by RFID, automatic radio frequency identification technology.

The CONNECTION LOCK RFID plastic seals for energy meters are a protection system for the water and gas supply connections, of simple application, which works as a seal: it is composed of two semicircular parts that fit together permanently one inside the other and which cannot be separated without breaking up. The transparent plastic material with which it is made allows you to check the correct closure of the valve.

The presence of an integrated RFID tag – available in the HF (NFC) and UHF frequency band, not accessible from the outside, allows you to associate a unique serial number to the CONNECTION LOCK locking system, which can be read from a distance and without line of sight with the operator who reads it.
Thanks to this identification, the meter is automatically recognized, using for example portable RFID readers or even smartphone and tablet devices on the market, in the hypothesis of using NFC technology.

CONNECTION LOCK RFID mounts an RFID tag whose electronic chip has its own unique coding and cannot be cloned. This feature allows a safe and reliable automatic identification of the seal, or of the meter / user associated with it.

The external envelope of the seal, made of high impact-resistant polycarbonate – can be personalized with marking and numbering (printing of alphanumeric code with inkjet technique, laser engraving, embossed marking for quantity).
